The Rotary Four Way Test
Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned
Rotary Reflection
For food in a world where many walk in hunger
For peace in a world where many walk in fear
For friends in a world where many walk alone
And for the opportunity to serve others through Rotary,
May we be truly thankful!

Acknowledgement of Territory
We are gathered on traditional Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Huron-Wendat Territory. we are grateful to be able to join together in Rotary Fellowship on these lands.
This morning our guests were Charles, Julia, and Amy, three Queen's Biology students spearheading a project to establish a edible native species garden on Queen's campus. The biosciences building already has a pollinator garden o it's grounds, but this group wants to expand into edible plants, and ultimately food gardens to help those experiencing food insecurity at Queen's. Our club has supported this project, and after the discussion the cheque was presented.
Tammara Maher; Charles Los, Amy Foster, Julia Atteck - speakers.

Announcements
Bill Egnatoff - As sent out earlier in the week, the following was proposed as our new club vision statement;
The VISION of the Rotary Club of Cataraqui-Kingston is to be a vibrant, inclusive Rotary fellowship of diverse people who are leaders in our community and the wider world engaging together with others in service to create hope in tangible ways.
This was voted on and adopted unanimously by the membership. Thanks to all those involved, especially Elizabeth.
There was a great International Committee meeting yesterday, and we need new blood to help manage all the projects.
Interact - there is a good deal of interest amongst grade 9's at KSS, which is a great thing.
John F./Greg - April 11th bingo needs to be staffed, Greg and John will be away. Someone will need to send out reminders as well. Next year's schedule has no 9 pm times!
John also reviewed the exciting upcoming speakers. Check the schedule.
Ana Sutherland - On April 13, 2024, our club will participate with a booth in "The Local Show 2024". Sponsored by ReStart, this show will highlight local businesses, and is geared to newer residents, students, and people relocating to Kingston. It is a perfect opportunity for our club to network. Ana will be looking for volunteers to help staff the booth - experience is not necessary, enthusiasm is.
What the show about? See https://www.kingstonchamber.ca/the_local_show_2024/
