Announcements

John Farrow - Former Outbound Exchange student London Buss is participating in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics on February 11th. She has asked for our help to reach her fundraising goal. You can go to this link to donate;
John will also send out a separate email with the details. London is a supporter of our Auction, let's support her

Bill Egnatoff - Youth Services will not meet this month.
Youth Service is sponsoring a short term exchange student for this summer, and orientation is going well. Thanks to Greg for his work on this. The short term exchange is family to family, so we will have an inbound student as well.

Ana Sutherland - Food packing goes on at the Community Food Warehouse every second Wednesday (Feb 7th and 21st). John us if you can help out. Ana has details.

There will be a Super Bowl party at Ana and Ed's house 'in the swamp' on Sunday, February 11th. It will be pot luck, and the famous Super Bowl Quiz will be back! Invitations will be out soon.

On February 17th, there will be a "fireside chat" for newer members, their mentors, and any other interested members. We want to know, what is your Rotary experience? This will be held at Bill and Joan Egnatoff's home, 10:30 am arrival, 11 am start. More details will follow with invitations today.

We have started conversations about the future of the club, and membership growth is paramount. We aren't recruiting, we are inviting. The focus should be on participation - there is something here for anyone. We also want new ideas.
Heather has revamped the new member guide. Share it with prospective members. It is a support document for mentors as well.

Heather Nogrady - Community Service Committee will meet this Thursday (25th) at 8 am. Everyone is welcome.

Greg Mumford - Auction Meeting Wednesday, January 24th at 5:30 pm. This first meeting will act as our wrap-up of last year, and we will think about where we go this year.

Please check the Bingo schedule and fill the dates up until the end of April.

Greg briefly spoke about the dress code for Bingo workers. We can lose 1/4 share for repeated uniform violations. Please also watch the use of cell phones while volunteering. We can also add new volunteers now. And we need them.
