Youth Leadership and Development Programs

RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards


The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is a program that provides outstanding student leaders and potential leaders an opportunity to expand and hone their leadership skills. (more info)

Adventures Programs


Rotary offers a number of Adventures programs for high school students to learn about various vocational areas. While each program is run by a sponsoring Rotary club, applicants contact their local Rotary Club to be sponsored into the programs.

Adventures in Citizenship


The Adventure in Citizenship program was instituted by the Rotary Club of Ottawa in 1951. Every spring 220 outstanding senior high school students from across Canada spend four days in the National Capital in a program designed to develop their potential as leaders in their communities and in the Canadian society. Adventures in High Tech


Adventure in High Technology is an annual program offered in the Kanata/Ottawa area for senior High School students who have an interest in exploring the potential of a career in the exciting world of High Technology. (more info)

Adventures in Agriculture


An opportunity for students to explore career opportunities in agriculture and horticulture and explore the programs offered by the University of Guelph and the hostRidgetown College near London ON.

Adventures in the Environment


With scientists, forresters, fishery and bat experts as their guides, high school students young folks will spend a jam-packed week in Eastern Ontario learning about wildlife habitat, old growth forests, environmental degradation and habitat restoration, capped off with a spooky visit to an underground cave.


The Rotaract Club of Kingston-St.Lawrence is for young people 18-39 interested in professional development and comunity service. (more info)
