The group is advocating for and raising funds for a fully accessible, all inclusive playground in Kingston. The project is partnering with the City, as well as Extend a Family and KidsInclusive, and is quickly picking up traction (the Kingstonist just wrote an article about the proposed playground https://www.kingstonist.com/news/inclusive-play-project-advocates-for-a-kingston-playground-for-everyone/ ) but they are quickly becoming in need of volunteers to help with promotions and fundraising.

October 24th is World Polio Day. We will discuss Rotary International and our Club roles in making Polio only the second disease to be erradicated in human history.

The purpose of the initiative is to provide educational support to disadvantaged Kenya youth to help them overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. The Kenya Initiative: from Street to School is a charitable organization whose primary purpose is to provide educational support (primary school, secondary school, or college/university) for disadvantaged young people in Kenya. The Initiative extends occasional support to widows caring for grandchildren whose parents have died or left them.

Stacy joined CFKA in August 2022, bringing expertise in philanthropic strategy and charitable operations, campaign management, annual giving, major giving, corporate and community engagement, and volunteer management. This morning we will hear about what's new at CFKA.
