  1.  GG 2122011 Interim Wash Report – Madras Central RC – now accepted by TRF (India)
  2. Tanzanian Students – funds ($1000 USD) have been wired October 25th – no confirmation of receipt
  3. Rushooka X-Ray  - GG 2567621 project has been approved by TRF; our funds $5250 have been forwarded to TRF (Canada) We are the International Partner for this project.  Our total commitment is $8400.  Balance of commitment is made up from pledges( from Bill and Nancy Gray and John Gale.
  4.  Kingston Frontenac RC - Peter Morin – our funds ($ 500 USD) forwarded to Kingston Frontenac to support repair of rain water supply system and hand washing facilities on Ukerewe Island, Tanzania
  5. Mobile Health Clinic – Columbia – Gananque RC – our funds ($1050) have been requisitioned – funds will be forwarded later this week
  6. Benchmark GX – immunohistochemistry upgrade – oncology technology upgrade – Santa Cruz – St Maarten  – Niagara on the Lake RC – our funds ($1050) have been requisitioned and will be forwarded later this week
  7. GG 2463724 – RC Kandy – final report has been approved by TRF
  8. GG 2464351  - RC Pasto (Columbia) – Chilling for Life – has been approved by TRF; our funds ($735) have been forwarded to TRF (Canada)
  9. C-Arm Project – Chennai Capital – our commitment is $2100.  We are the International Partner for this project;  project submitted to TRF?
  10. Vocational Training Team – Indigenous Health Care – Australia/Canada
  11. GG 2684037  Mengo Rotary Blood Bank  - this project is now fully funded.  Project not yet submitted to TRF.  We are the International Partner.  Congratulations to Bill Gray and all others who helped find funding for this project.   Cold Room project yet to be funded completely.

A Collaboration to Set Up a Medical Physics MSc Education Program in Kenya

Dr. John Schreiner, Queen's Professor Emeritus in The Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy brings a physicist's expertise to the field of radiation oncology. As a leader in sharing such expertise in low- and middle-income countries, he will speak of his collaboration with Kenyan colleagues to establish a Master of Science program in Medical Physics.

Monthly evening social, in lieu of regular morning meeting. We gather at a variety of venues andenjoy conversation during cocktail hour followed by dinner. There is a bit of Rotary business but it's mostly to encourage fellowship and conversation. Guests are always welcome. Our club was founded April 22, 1985. Our members are dedicated people who share a passion for both community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group of professionals who share your drive to give back.
