Murray paid a very happy $10 for his hole in one at the Picton Rotary golf tournament. He was there with Bob Dowling and two other friends.
John Gale did get to sail his boat that he keeps at his camp. It was a great sail, with a steady wind that allowed a 3 km run on one tack.
Greta attended a Toastmasters meeting. It is a young group with lots of fellowship, and could be a place to find new members for our club.
Ana paid $10 for her new Paul Harris recognition pin, with thanks to John Gale for delivering it. Some of the $10 is for the new motorhome that she and Ed have just purchased. They are excited to be able to go exploring with their home going with them turtle style.
Bill Egnatoff saw the first hummingbird of the season, and he also had his interview as a prospective mentor for the Rotary FAR project.
Ana paid again to tell us that she had the pleasure of meeting up with On’A’Got’Tay. He is happy to be celebrating his 59th birthday as it puts him closer to being an Elder.
Greg Mumford spent some time with his younger son’s family, and they were able to spend a few days at the lake.
John and Lori Farrow celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. It was very low key, not being able to dine out, but they still had a great day.
