Ana: trying to organize KAIROS Blanket Exercise. Nov. 19th around 6:30 pm. Looking for suitable location.
Last night (November 5th): Grants adjudication. $18,000 allocated. Will be announced shortly.
Greg: Terri Committed to notify recipients by Nov. 7, announce by 8th. Can then highlight in last week of auction publicity.

Bernie: Polio Update: 32 cases. 3 new cases this week. Pakistan--only 3 cases this year. The rest of the cases are in Afghanistan, near the Pakistan border, one tribe where all the cases are.

Partner Update
John Farrow: The MESS. Annual show. Need to upgrade kitchen at St. Andrew's Church. Raising money for that, including commercial dishwasher. Faces of the MESS--new series of portraits by one of the MESS artists. Visited with Jamal, Syrian artist and writer who spoke to our club. Son at U of T on full scholarship for four years. Wife working at KEYS. John invited him back to visit our club and maybe to speak. Rick added, one of his paintings is at QuickFit.

John Farrow: 374 gifts on Web site. Hoping to meet 400. Thank you. If anything last minute, would like to get in by this weekend. Thanks to Doug Townsend for doing a lot of gift entry. Thanks to all who have been bringing gifts, especially Murray and Elizabeth. Need to balance load for next year.
